In 2017 through partnership with University of Rwanda and CMSF(Christian Medical Students Fellowship), RCMDO supported the HSHB Campaign(Healthy Soul in Healthy Body Campaign) which was done to encourage people to be exemplary Christians but also take care of their health. This campaign was done in Huye where 25 people were given health insurance, and community service (Umuganda) was done in Matyazo sector to make 5 kitchen gardens and teach people about prevention of malnutrition. At the end of campaign, there was a concert attended by 400 people and Vice chancellor of University of Rwanda Prof. Philip Cotton. The attendees of the concert were screened for hypertension and other non communicable diseases(NCDs).
