In 2016, members of RCMDO(Rwanda Christian Medical and Dental Organization) visited Gashora refugees camp in Bugesera district where they shared the gospel to those refugees to strengthen them in their hard situation. Refugees were given some basic needs materials to use in their daily life and were taught about health education like sanitation and reproductive heath.
In that period, Rwandan had received around 21 000 refugees from Burundi because of insecurity problems that were in their country.
So main goals for visiting them was to provide spiritual comfort, material support and health education to them.
